Hello again, website!
It’s awards eligibility post season, and I’ve finally found time in between existential panic about the general state of the world and my new day job to put this post together for you. It’s a nice, short one.
I published one short story in 2020, “Strange Things Done,” which appeared in Podcastle. Charles Payseur called it “sensual, sexy, and messy in all the ways I love to see. [. . .] A breathtaking read!” (I only keysmashed into my group chat a little bit.) It also appeared on his 2020 Recommended Reading List.
I needed an updated author photo to give Podcastle, so I took the opportunity to make my wife take some nice photos of my dog and me. As a reward for being so kind as to click through from Twitter, I’ll stick a couple outtakes at the end of this, as a treat.
Other than that, I have been working away on multiple novel-length projects and trying to survive. I hope to have more to tell you about sometime soon!
